Bush Is Right ... For Once

I like the President's immigration policy. Well, most of it. Sending the National Guard to the border is dumb, but other than that he has the right idea. Going after the employers over the immigrants is smart. Amnesty is smart. Strengthening the border is smart. Of course, all of this ignores the root causes of immigration, but for the here and now, I must say it's a good plan and, even more suprisingly, a good compromise.

That said, I've got 5 bucks that says it never gets passed. The man is a lame duck.
