Apparently 3 out of 4 major US phone companies (AT&T, Verison and BellSouth) complied with the NSA's request for thier call records, with Qwest being the only hold-out. I bet they gets some new subscribers; buy stock now. This line is buried at the bottom of the article:
Unable to get comfortable with what NSA was proposing, Qwest's lawyers asked NSA to take its proposal to the FISA court. According to the sources, the agency refused.Well, gee, I wonder why ... hmmm, maybe because it is illegal and would've been rejected. This crap is seriously ridiculous.
