- Is it the case that the first 5 minutes of this episode are 1000 times more awesome than last week simply by being about Locke instead of Kate? Yes. That is the case.
- Creepy dead bleeding kid alert!
- Apropos of nothing: Smokie-Locke meeting Super Monk guy is going to be epic.
- Is it the case that the drunk Sawter is 1000 times more awesome than weepy wuss Sawyer of last week? Yes. That too is the case.
- Sun-Jin reunion this week? Solid!
- I really like happy Hugo. It's nice to see Garcia play something a little bit different - he's a pretty good actor.
- Who the hell is this creepy kid?? I am intrigued. And a return of the "Don't tell me what I can't do!" line. I like it. This episode is off to a solid start. Complete 180 from last week.
- Speaking of great acting, Terry O'Quinn's is absolutely amazing. He's really embracing being the smoke monster - honestly, it's something no one else in this cast could pull off - excellent stuff. If there was any logic in that process (and there isn't) this would put him right in the hunt for an Emmy next year.
- O'Quinn's awesome acting aside, I'm still not completely sold on the flash-sideways concept. I still think it's going to play prominently in to the end game, I just hope it's worth the time and effort.
- And this is why you don't climb cliff-side rope ladder mazes after drinking.
- Uh, they're there because of cave grafitti? That was a tad anticlimactic (and very Lost-y) answer.
- Alright, so I guess that explains the numbers. I feel empty inside.
- And that is that. More next week.

not so much explains the numbers but puts a little context around them.
did you realize that for some reason it seemed not that far for them to carry locke's body to the grave site from the foot? yet the foot never seemed that close in previous episodes?
I could be wrong, but I'm willing to bet that is the last we see of the numbers, and I'm ok with that.
Yeah, I didn't notice, but I read something about the foot to graveyard distance as well.
Also, I rewatched both episode 3 and 4 with Alexa tonight, and my opinions are now even stronger. Episode 3 was absolutely wretched, and 4 was pretty awesome.
